On November 1, 2006 Hiram Walker® sponsored the Judith Leiber event honoring Denise Rich with the first Leiber Women's Leadership Award. Mrs. Rich was honored for her work in the fight against cancer through the G&P Foundation. The event was held at the Judith Leiber Flagship Store at 680 Madison Avenue in New York City.

With an attendance of over 200 guests from the civic, business and entertainment sectors and set amidst the backdrop of the Judith Leiber flagship boutique on Madison Avenue, the event was an exciting showcase for cocktails featuring the new Hiram Walker Pomegranate Schnapps. There were two bars as well as passed cocktails and hors d'ouvres. The featured cocktail was be the HW Pomegranate "Pometini." RF A&CC created and distributed recipe cards that were featured on the bars. Custom Hiram Walker printed napkins were also served with the cocktails throughout the evening.

New York-based local and national lifestyle media representatives were in attendance as well as photographers to catch event images for post-event coverage consideration.
